Ghost Tarot Communication 005

Hello everyone,

So it’s been a while since I did an update and I wanted to run through some of what I’ve been working on.

I’m going to start by saying once again that Three of Ghosts (outside of miniature production) is a solo project, everything always takes longer than I want it to,
and balancing trying to make this mammoth of a game alongside working as a full time freelancer is tough.

That being said I have made significant progress towards finalising a demo and I want to use that demo to potentially approach a publisher,
or at least find an extra person or two to help with some of the layout and managing the production side of things.

Refining The Game

So after playtesting the ‘book’ version of the game mentioned in the last update, it ultimately fell quite short of what I wanted from it. I had to sacrifice
a lot of space for art and graphic design, and whilst it played well solo, the exploration was quite overwhelming and disjointed when playing as a group.

To remedy this I have re-introduced a few decks and tokens to give some room for the words, art and graphic design to breathe,
but it's still quite light component-wise compared to many similar games.

The goal is still to have the game be very quick to set-up and tear-down,
with drawers and dividers for components making it easy to search for exactly what you need.

MinIatures

On the miniatures side of things: The Harbus from update 3 has been re-imagined as the Bahali Lancer.
I wanted to really differentiate her play-style and so I re-sculpted her with a giant harpoon gun that she can use to reel enemies in.
She will also come with her own Threader, hers has a knife to stab at harpooned enemies!

I also sculpted the Anchor, a Ghost with an incredibly dangerous form accelerator strapped to her back that can knock enemies about with her slab gloves.
The Anchor is already cast and should be available on the shop soon.

As always, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to have more news sooner rather than later!
